American actress Jessica Alba was born as Jessica Marie Alba in 1981, in Pomona, California, in the family of Catherine Alba and Mark Alba. Jessica Alba is of Danish, French Canadian, and Mexican American ancestry. Jessica has a younger brother, an American actor Joshua Alba. Jess described her family as being a "very conservative family - a traditional, Catholic, Latin American family". In her childhood, Jess had many illnesses as asthma, pneumonia, a burst appendix, a cyst on her tonsils.
