Sometimes known as 'The African-American Angelina Jolie' actress and former fashion model K.D. Aubert was born Karen Denise Aubert on December 6, 1978, in Shreveport, La. K.D. attended San Diego State University, where she played softball for the Aztecs. She began her career when she was discovered working behind a make-up counter at Macy's and began modeling for Escada, Noxzema, AT&T as well as for Victoria's Secret and Fredrick's of Hollywood.
