Supermodel Petra Nemcova was born on June 24, 1979, in Karina, Czech Republic. She is known worldwide for her 2003 cover of the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue. Ironically, on Dec. 26, 2004, she had to hang on to a tree for eight hours without a swimsuit, when a Tsunami hit Thailand.
