Biography
Originally known as Desecrator when they began rehearsing in 1989, Swedish melodic death metal band Ceremonial Oath was a collaboration between singer vocalist Oscar Dronjak, guitarist Anders Iwers, bassist Jesper Stromblad and drummer Markus Nordsberg. 1992's The Lost Name of God" demo paved the way for their first full-length album The Book of Truth, which emerged the following year, but the group soon splintered and Iwers was left to start over again with a new line-up for 1995's The Carpet, before giving up and moving onto become the bassist with gothic/industrial metal pioneers Tiamat...Read more
