A Mexican descendant, singer Jennifer Pena was born in Corpus Christi, TX, debuting in the Tejano music scene at the age of six while participating in different children's contests. At the age of 12, the young artist accomplished one of her major goals by singing at Houston's Astrodome, paying tribute to her idol, Selena.
