Moonlight Awakening began as a dark rock project in 1997 as a method for self-expression, one that would hopefully defy the traditional boundaries of music genres and cliches. Years later, with many albums worth of original material spanning and blending a host of musical styles, moonlight awakening has evolved into its own sound.
